How to Apply

To apply to work for Whitbread Restaurants as a Front of House Team Member click the apply button at the top of this page or on the nationwide job advert on the right under “Featured Jobs”.

You will be required to complete an online application form telling us which Restaurant you want to work in, as well as your preferred Days, Hours & Shifts.

You will then be entered into our candidate database which our Managers use when recruiting staff for their Restaurant.  If a vacancy currently exists in your area OR when a vacancy becomes available you will be contacted directly by one of our management team.

Team Member

We always come to work feeling positive and energetic and start our day talking about our food and our guests. This makes sure we have the confidence to talk about our products: whether that be offering extra side orders, desserts or the details of our loyalty programmes. With a genuine passion for doing everything, we can to make sure our guests love their experience with us.

We attend regular team meetings to make sure everyone is well informed and participation in ideas generating becomes second nature. Working together as a Restaurant team, remaining flexible in our behaviour and attitude and embracing all Company standards also gives us clear guidelines to ensure we are able to deliver to the guests exactly what they ordered - on time, in an environment that is clean and safe.

We delight in building a rapport with all our guests to maximise opportunities and so that we can understand how to brighten their day with small meaningful gestures that can build special, personal memories.

The best development & training

From day 1 we’re right beside you every step of the way. You will receive a ‘Best Welcome’ that will quickly get you up to speed and fully operational in our business. Your in-restaurant trainer will help organise your training to ensure it’s the most stress free experience and you will also be assigned a ‘buddy’ to help you settle in and become a part of the family.
Our industry leading training and easy to follow in house training skills matrix designed especially for Front of House team members will ensure you know your role and start contributing to our success before you know it.

We love to promote from within so once you have established yourself there are loads of development and training opportunities available - your future is in your hands.
Whether that be a course from our e-learning library, one of our many off site workshops like Essential Employment Policy or our wonderful ‘Progressing into...’ programmes where we invest between 6-9 months worth of time in your development & assisting you with your career progression.
